We're going to Cannes!
Each year at the Cannes Lions festival a group of creatives under the age of 30 from all around the world are invited to attend and participate in the Young Lions Competition. This year we are proud to announce that Mimmi and Andrea from Metric are going to represent Norway!
The Young Lions Competitions give the next generation of industry superstars the chance to prove themselves during the Festival week. The purpose is to give graphic and other specialist designers the space to showcase their talent and test their skills against the rest of the industry.
Following a briefing from a non-profit organisation, teams of two have to deliver a brand identity that includes a logo/brand, a 150-word description of how the brand identity fits the brief and a 150-word description of how the brand would evolve in just 24 hours. The work will then be assessed by the Cannes Lions Design Jury.
They’ll have just 24 hours to answer the brief.
The Gold-winning team members collect their medals on stage during a prestigious Cannes Lions awards ceremony, as well as receiving complimentary registrations and accommodation at the following year’s Festival.
